Four Flights. Four Times A Day.

Four Flights. Four times a day. That's about the average journey to leave our home every day. When we bought our home willingly signing up for the daily ascent the excuse everyone gave us, "It's okay you're both young." Yes, we are young (for the time being)  and the frequent Home Goods excursions do get me out of a work out. I definitely tip the pizza delivery extra for making the trek and I'm much more strategic about my grocery trips as well.

Living at the "penthouse" level is definitely worth the extra effort. We have the benefit of being the only occupants of our floor in a secluded segment of the building which really adds a nice sense of privacy. Some people might not be so inclined to make the journey every single day but for me its easy. Ha, no i'm not in shape and yearn for the challenge of adding more steps to my count. I do it because of this exact picture. What more motivation do I need other than knowing there's a glass of wine and cat waiting as well. Ah the blessings of the simple things in life. Go ahead, add four more flights.
