Breakfast Of Champions
One of the highlights during our trip in Old San Juan was the lovely breakfast boutique, Waffle Era. Offering an exotic variety of waffle-inspired breakfast entrees, this proved to be our favorite way to start each morning.
We actually had so much trouble deciding among the different amazing options that we ended up sharing (whether it was planned or not). Victoria went with the poached egg & chicken pesto waffle while I opted to address my sweet tooth with the almond crème brûlée waffle. Both meals were spectacular. These were the, "If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life," type of meals.
If you're a coffee drinker I'd also highly recommend their homemade iced coffee. Cold brewed in-house, its a delicious pairing with any waffle choice!
