The Misty Pickle

Honestly one of the most incredible paddle boarding experiences I've been on. We were lucky enough to spend a long memorial weekend with my parents at our friends lake house at Rogers Lake in Old Lyme, CT. I remember my mom talking about the fog from the previous morning and how it had encompassed the entire lake. She showed me a few pictures from the dock but hadn't made the voyage out. Excited about the prospect of a beautifully gloomy morning I accepted the challenge of waking up at 5 to check for fog conditions. I couldn't have bee more amazed by the outcome of the next morning. A perfectly timed sunrise along with heavy fog breezing over the glassy lake created some breathtaking silhouettes of Victoria paddling.
